a. The stall sells chicken rice
b. The stall is in Pudu
It also sells duck, roast pork and bbq pork among other things. The pig doesn't know why it's not called Duck Rice stall or Roast Pork stall. It's beyond the scope of this entry so don't ask. Since the Pig was exported to Lion City, she hardly had the opportunity to eat her favourite dish of BBQ + roast pork with steam taufu and side soup.
Nite don't hate me
You can order for single plate or you can order it as a dish (as above) for a few people. This place is very crowded during lunch hours. The Pig used to drive over as early as 11.45am to get a good seat. In the pig's humble opinion, there are 3 reasons for the smashing success of this stall :-
a. Super fast service.
b. The boss is friendly
c. Free flow sauce. Every kind of sauce.
Different sauce for different meat
Frankly before this stall, the pig didn't know there are different sauces for different meat. The pig's favorite sauce is the BBQ sauce. The pig eats it with everything. But the pig is not champion. The honour goes to Monkey Boy whom likes to drown his rice with this rich thick sauce. By the time we are through, the bottle usually left very little.
At least 3 kinds of soup for choice
Although they serve a few kinds of speciality soup, they also have free soup. This is call Government Soup. You can have unlimited refills of this soup but it's self service. The pig only takes Government Soup if it's dried veggie soup. Otherwise the pig will take the speciality soup. Aunty said their soup is authentic without MSG.
Opposite Pudu Plaza
Parking around this place is notoriously hard to find as everyone drives like they own the road. Usually the pig will just park in Pudu Plaza and walk across. The pig will miss this dearly when she embark on 2nd phase of Project Greater Good.
